Anyone going out tomorrow? Mid 70s.

Well, my boat has been pulled for the season which is a bummer but we were still able to drive around in my jon boat and drink beer. It is still too nice out not to be on the water!

Is the chili cookoff this weekend?

I'm thinking of entering and regaining my title! I want to be the first two time chili champion @ Saylorville.

Could be a long day. And it looks like we have a scheduling problem ...

Oklahoma(#1) vs. Texas(#5) @ 11:00am on ABC
Iowa vs Indiana @ 11:00 on Big Ten Network

Then the Chili Cookoff @ 2:00

And Iowa state vs Baylor @ 6:00 on Cyclone radio

What are the hours at the deli dock now? And I assume they get the Big Ten Network? How many people will I have to fight to have the Oklahoma game on the big TV?

The Deli Dock gets Direct TV so they do get the BIG Ten Network. There is usually some hawk fans watching although that number keeps dropping when they are losing. I am sure you can watch the Texas/OU game by the 3rd quarter since Iowa will be losing by then. I am golfing at the TCI or else I would be there eating your World Famous Chili!

We can bring another TV down for the Oklahoma game as long as a regular antenna will pick up the station.

What time are they opening Saturday? How much booze will they have left?

Nobody knows for sure when they will be open if even at all. JJ(Jasen) is not managing it next year and they have been cleaning out the kitchen for the season. Kevin Jones is getting out of his lease. This is just only what I have heard- not confirmed facts. They could make some money Saturday being open but who knows?? FYI- Channel 5 comes in easy with rabbit ears on the lake.

We have confirmation .. JJ is going to open by 11:00 so we can watch the game.

We holed up in the cove and drank away the coming winter, so did not get a chance to make it back to the Chili cookoff... who took home the prize?
