Well we spent 3 days boating on the muddy miss. 220 miles of water under the keel, just shy of 2 tanks of fuel, and 6 lockings . That is the BEST place yet I have boated. It is so cool to be able to go without running out of lake. If I had my way I would be there every weekend. I will be posting pics so stay tuned !!

I know what you are saying about being able to go and go, and not just go in circles. To take the boat, and park along the way at new places, etc would be very cool. That would be the major reason to have the local puddle's level raised, it would be a lot of fun to pack a picnic and be able to head to ledges, etc.

Did you throw a tent in the boat, or what did you do for accomodations along the way?

Is that McGregor???? and if so, those docks are new, no????

Nope that is the casino marina at Marquette just up river from McGregor.

We stayed in a motel right next to the casino and kept Dream On in a slip at the casino marina. Just had to walk across the street and we were at the boat, its great!

Thanks Dave, we’d appreciate any phone numbers, bars/restaurants that are worthy of stopping at. Also hotel and slip costs .. if you don’t mind sharing.

Well lets see, slip was $20.00 a night with 2 free bags of ice, hotel was $80 (i think??) a night.
